The Every Woman Every Child (EWEC) Innovation Marketplace, in collaboration with our co-sponsors at the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health, Global Financing Facility and the EWEC Secretariat, hosted a cocktail reception at the World Health Assembly on May 19th, 2019. The event featured a spotlight on new and exciting innovative solutions that address maternal, newborn and child health issues in low and middle income countries. The event also brought together stakeholders of global health including funders, investors, private sector, government, implementation partners and others to discuss barriers to scaling proven interventions in these settings and the roles the community can play in addressing them.
